Correction to Thursday schedule - Hyssongs are NOT performing  and Lawnmower Racing is Tuesday ONLY.

Schedule Change Saturday 3:30 Northern Groove Band cancelled so Corland Richards & Co. will be performing in the same time slot.

Also on Thursday at 2:00 PM the correct pull weight is 3000lbs and under

WOW - It's almost here! The 143rd  Annual Cumberland Fair is planning out all of the great events that will make this THE Fair to attend in 2014!!!!  We’re pulling  out all the stops to put on another top-quality, family friendly week of entertainment and agricultural education!  The Cumberland Farmer’s Club is pleased to announce we will be featuring the Rawhide Rodeo once again this year –with daily exhibitions to include two full Professional Rodeo events, Professional Bull Riding and a Children’s rodeo daily!   We will also feature FIREWORKS for the first time ever on Saturday evening, September 27th put on by the amazing folks at Central Maine Pyrotechnics!  An event you won’t want to miss!!!!

We are pleased to be able to  provide another quality week of Agricultural exhibits, entertainment for the ages, food and merchandise vendors, demonstrations in the Exhibition Hall, Museum and Sugar House, Livestock displays and shows, Horticulture exhibits, Daily Harness Racing, and so much more!

The Demolition Derby (Sponsored by Cumberland Salvage and Lakeside Garage) will hit the track on Sunday evening, the Pulling Ring has exciting events planned all week long, all the 4H kids are gearing up to get their animal projects going to be  ready for the  4H Auction on Wednesday of the Fair (come ready to bid and fill your freezer with top-quality meat!), we have Gillette Midways ready to provide a top- quality show- and we’ve only just begun the planning process!

Join Girls on the Run

Join Girls on the Run - Maine on a healthy family walk around the horse track to get the Fair week started off right! At Girls on the Run, we empower girls to be joyful and confident, make healthy decisions in life, make a positive impact on our world, and boldly pursue their dreams. Join us on September 21 at 9am as we channel our excitement for the start of the Fair into a fun and healthy morning walk! Wear your bright colors, crazy socks, your tutus - make it fun! Donate $5/lap. 50% of money raised will benefit GOTR-ME's scholarship fund ensuring that more girls in Maine have the opportunity to participate in our program. The other 50% will benefit long-time fairground employee Donnie Richards and his recovery from an onsite accident. Join us to get healthy and help Donnie get back to doing what he loves!
