Fair Dates: September 22 through September 28, 2024

Applications and deposits will be accepted beginning January 1, 2024


Spaces are first come first serve and not guaranteed until your application has been received and you have confirmation from the Superintendent of Commercial Vendors

Inside Rates: Space inside the Exhibition Hall will be sold @ $350 per 10′ space. All exhibitors will be open rain or shine.

Outside Rates: A 10′ minimum space is required. A 10’x10′ space is $500.00 Price increases at $50 per foot above 10′.  This will include your total length, including any non removable hitches, open doors, compartments, walk ways or awnings. Vendor must ensure all of these items are included in the space requested, and will be limited to the amount of space on their application.  Water access and electrical access available for all sites.  (see below for Electrical Fees)  All Vendors are required to be open from 9:00am until 9:00pm rain or shine.

Refrigerated Stock Truck Fee: $100 will be charged for the week.  Indicate in additional information on  your registration form any refrigerated stock truck requirements.

Electrical Fee: Weekly electrical charge in addition to space rental fees will be assessed as follows:  50amp – $135.00     30amp – $100.00   110 – $50 per plug

Display Space: $45 per foot; no power or water access.

Insurance Requirements: All vendors are required to submit a certificate of insurance naming The Cumberland Farmers Club PO Box 745, Cumberland ME 04021 as additional insured, providing a minimum of $1,000,000.00 liability insurance valid the week of the fair which will include a description of your operation on the certificate. COI must be received PRIOR to Vendor set-up.  No exceptions.

Maine State Sellers Certificate: All vendors are also required to show proof of their Maine Sellers Certificate. Vendors will have to secure this license on their own. In order to open you must show proof of your Maine Sellers certificate (you must obtain) or you will be in violation and not allowed to open.

Games of Chance: The State of Maine requires a license for all games of chance.  A copy of this license must be provided to the Vendor Superintendent.

Passes: Two (2) plastic wrist bands or Vendor ID badges will be provided for each entry. The gates will not allow admission without them. There will be an additional charge for any additional passes required for your workers or volunteers, additional passes are non-refundable.

Parking: All vehicles will park across the street in the parking lot in a designated area. Vendors are limited to 2 vehicles in the vendor parking area, passes will be limited to 2 and will be issued by the Superintendent.  Only those vehicles with a parking pass will be permitted in the vendor lot and be allowed to use the loading/unloading area inside the front gate.  Time limit for loading/unloading will be enforced.  No vehicles will be allowed on the fairgrounds between the hours of 9:00am and 10:00pm. This rule will be enforced daily and your cooperation will be appreciated.

Registration forms:  Vendors with multiple sites must submit registration form for EACH unit.    Payment in full must be made at the Commercial Vendor office prior to set up and before September 1, 2024***

Deposit: $100 non-refundable deposit must be returned with signed contract. Space will not be held without deposit.

Approved vendors will be assigned location by the Superintendent.  DO NOT set up without confirming space with the Superintendent.

Vendors do not have “grandfathered” rights and all vendors must submit application and receive approval from Superintendent.

Successful applicants will receive contract and letter of approval. Deposit must be returned with signed contract to secure the site.

Site fee must be paid in full, and Certificate of Insurance received  prior to set-up at the Cumberland Fairgrounds.  Payments must be made at the Commercial Vendors office.
